An alternative to Avio? Can't Post

I work for a company called Brand Scan in South Africa. We produce videoed interviews, that is about 30-60 mins long. Brand Scan started out using Macintosh's Adobe Premierer, but it soon became very obvious that a Mac could not handle 2 hours of footage, in high quality! Therefore we have gotten ourselves an Avio. We were informed that the Casablanca System were the only systems outthere for our needs. The contactperson for Macro systems has clasified us as being in a "gray zone" inbetween the home user and the real, very expensive editing suites and that the Avio were the only realistic solution for us. I found that very hard to believe in the beginning and I still do! The Casablanca Avio is a stable system and has many useful features, but it is very obvious that when you are working under pressure and you need the work done ASAP, the Avio is simply not good and fast enough. A complete useless interface with NO shortcuts whatsoever (to save time), is our main problem.
THEREFORE I ask YOU PEOPLE outthere: Is there no other systems, that is more suitable for Brand Scan?

There are broadcasters around the world using the Cassie and 60,000 users now.Your use is very simple but how fast must this interview composit be ready for air? Minutes? I have many times taped wedding ceremonies and showed these at receptions with photo recaps of their lives, 12' video projection,in a matter of a couple hours. Now Cassie is not real time but has never let me down. If ya need very stable and reliable I swear by Cassie, not Avio, although avio may suit many new users, and I believe ya should look close at the Kron with similar features as Cassie, but MPEG2. The Avio is still entry level and with a few more software updates will mature. My order is in for the Kron and I will continue to steer clear of any computer system. The Casablanca has made me a few hundred grand and keeps rollin along....what a product these Germans have....and they continue to put out premium product perhaps not at the speed users may demand but stable and user friendly. I have no idea what a pull down menue is or all the steps required from computer editing. Casablanca has freed me to create...and thats all there is yes?

Try either a screenplay or sequel from applied magic. very little rendering. almost everything in real time.
