Avio Audio Question -Please Help!!! Can't Post

Hi All,
I just received my Avio ST and have a question. I'm used to editing to a audio bed but I heard you have to lay down the video/storyboard first. Can someone help or explain what my options are!!!
Thanks,
James

Re: Avio Audio Question -Please Help!!! Can't Post

Yes, It is possible! Go to audio record and record your VO or voice or other audio. Then click on one of the files and go to special in the same menu. Find sample>scene and make a scene out of your audio. Basically what this does is make a scene you can put in your storyboard. It will be a black scene with your audio. Then find the images you want to match with your audio and "insert" them onto your audio scene (this is done in the Edit menu)You can even range the images to match exactly with the words. One caveat is that you cannot put transitions in between the video using insert editing. Cuts only. If you have the latest software you can make a "scene" out of your work and then add transitions to the new scene. Confusing? E-mail more questions you might have. Happy to help.
