Avio cut off Can't Post

I completed a 24 min. film including commentary, music, titles, transitions etc. on my Avio.
During editing, adding commentary etc. I must have played the film from start to finish at least 20 times without problem over a 3 month period.
When doing a final viewing prior to transferring it on to a VHS tape the screen suddenly went to grey and the edit screen appeared. I re-ran the film and at the same point the same thing happened. I tried trimming a few frames from the offending scene but the same problem occured. I finally got round it by deleting the scene from the storyboard and then re-recording it from my camera. Has anybody else had this problem? What causes it? Is there another remedy?

I too have just had this problem on one project which like you I had made several copies from but when I went to use it today it would freeze after just a few seconds.
At exactly the same time I had another project which had a clip appear from a separate project and completely screwed it up. I had to waste quite some time having to repair this problem which resulted in me not completing an order.
To say the least I was not too chuffed.
Best regards,
Martin

Re: Avio cut off [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi,
This is caused by a bad frame of video or audio, I had the samething happen to last week when I went to put a project onto DVD. Plus, on the other Avio Editing system I had the Hard Drive Full Error, this is after I reinstall the software.
I sure hope that Macrosystem Germany can fix the Hard Drive Disk full error.
