Avio for sale Can't Post

I have a Avio Casablanca about 4 mos old. It is DV firewire ready. Has 80 gig hardrive and over $1700 worth of software on it.OS 1.8 version. Runs great and had no problems. Sale price is $3000. I live in Portland Or and would ship free to the buyer. I want to move up to Premiere 6.5. email me or phone. I also have made a binder of the forum issues as how to use the software which is very valuable to new users. Also have the older 20 gig harddrive to go with it. This is an exceptional value. simply call (503) 653-8380 PDT.
Thanks,
Robert

Nothing personal, Robert, but how can anyone justify $1700 of software on an Avio?

Banned Bob, Ed R. and Mike all appear to have an axe to grind. I don't trust anything that comes from them. Look within their messages and you always see someone who is self-serving and angry at the world. Too bad they have chosen to waste our time.

Re: Avio for sale [In reply to] Can't Post

No axe to grind, Mr. Unreasonable, just video to edit. I currently own 5 MSUS products that are supported by the company at present, and about a dozen others that are no longer supported. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars with MSUS and have made a decent amount of money from using their products. We also use several other companies' editing systems in our studio and remote productions.
All I wanted to know was why would someone spend so much on an Avio? After all, it's supposed to be an economical editing box. Once you've spent $3000 on it ($1300 to buy it, then $1700 in software), someone would be much better off buying a more suitable system.
So, Mr. Unreasonable, please respond if you can ... how could YOU justify spending $1700 on software for an Avio?
Thanks!!
