CasablancaKron Can't Post

I just picked up my new CasablancaKron, and have already found a problem:
I recorded a few scenes from my TRV900 via firewire, then forgot to click SPLIT so ended up with ONE scene only. I deleted this scen as I wanted the scenes split I tried to record the same footage again but the Casi said NO VIDEO SIGNAL. No matter what I did I could no longer record. I shut the Casi down, re-booted and it worked. Has anyone any idea why I couldn't immediately record?

Re: CasablancaKron Can't Post

I have the same problem with my Avio using a camcorder direct to the input. I haven't tried to capture with my timebase corrector or video mixer yet, but I hope this helps the problem. I have a feeling that the problem is the lack of video signal when camcorder is in stop mode. When the camcorder is started again the Avio isn't able to sync up again and must be restarted.

Bill:
Casablanca Commandment Number 3: Thou shall start video source playback before starting Cassie recording, and stop Cassie recording before stopping the video source playback.
This is specifically for the Cassie but I suspect it also applies to the Avio and the Kron.
Hope this helps,
