Hi again Chase,
you will find the video and audio is actually recorded perfectly in sync when you play it back from the hard drive, changeing the firewire will make no difference and the audio that repeats at the end is also not on the hard drive.

: I'm having some complications using my DV cable with my Casablanca Kron. If I do a live capture, there is a latency time. The delay is about 1 second between real-time and "capture-time." Also, if I'm recording using the DV cable, and I press the stop button: the video stops, but the last second of audio that was playing repeats itself about 3 times.
: Is there some setting that needs to be changed in order to correct these issues? Or...perhaps I should invest in a newer, higher quality cable?
: (I am using the fire-wire cable that came boxed with my Kron.)
