Cassie Classic Firewire Can't Post

Two Questions: #1---In order to use the firewire on my Cassie Classic what preferred digital video camera should I use? I have not ventured into the digital camera arena yet but am looking for a used one right now. # 2---Would I have to have a DV board?

Re: Cassie Classic Firewire Can't Post

The preference of camera is irrelevant to the Cassie. What you are comfortable shooting with is.
Classic Cassie did not come with a digital firewire board and had to be added in later. It's a $1600.00 option (well the last time I looked anyway)
You could use the svhs output/input and still get nice results but it's not digital.
