Cassy in Slowmotion ?? Can't Post

I like so many am taking a good hard look at Casablanca...
A few questions..
#1 Slow Motion.. I have a panasonic AGDS840.. Its very professional with slowmotion.. Will Casablanca support it?? And does the out tape look sharp??
#2 I see its about $4,000.00 for the cheapest one.
What do you need to add to this model?? I think for that price they're not including everything you need to be successful..
#3 What kind of fades and wipes or flips can Cassy do??
#4 where do you go to get a demo tape??
thanks

Yes to both questions. The Cassie can also generate very good slow motion from normal rate video.
: #2 I see its about $4,000.00 for the cheapest one.

Actually, it does include everything (except a TV or video monitor display) for you to construct successful videos. You get some 40 transition and image processing f/x, a 7-different-type titler with 7 different fonts, and a host of special operations (still, fast and slow motion, reverse, and several types of "empty scenes" for title backgrounds. You get full rate, full screen video playback of the storyboard without rendering, except for titles and f/x. On this model, a 1-sec crossfade will take about 60 secs to render and you can batch render f/s. The basic system will make wonderful videos "right out of the box". This system has a 4 GB hard drive that will give you about 20 minutes storage of DV-quality video.
Upgrades from that system include: faster rendering (about 2X faster for 2D f/x), DV i/o, a fancier animated titler, a host of addition transistion and image processing f/x, a paint program, larger hard drive capability (up to 67 GB currently), a 'breakout box' providing YUV component video and XLR balanced audio output, and a PC-Link program for transferring images to or from the Cassie and a PC running Win95/98/NT.
: #3 What kind of fades and wipes or flips can Cassy do??
The basic system comes with: 3D rotations, Bars, Circle Wipe, Collapse, Color Fade, Cone, Crossfade, Cylinder, Disc, DoubleExposure, Explode, Funnel, Half Sphere, Page turn, Pix-in-pix, Roll, Shift, Sphere, Triangle, CVBS filter, Color to grey, Color depth, Control Color, Control Image, Crosswave, Dynamic Range, Fade in/out, Flashbulb, Lineart, Mirror, Negative, Rectangle, Relief/Emboss, Sharpen, Soften, Solarize, Telescope, Wave.
Also, when you register your purchase, you receive another f/x disk with nine addition f/x.
: #4 where do you go to get a demo tape??
