Crashing Cassie Can't Post

Having had cassie for over a year I have been encountering major problems recently. It won`t stop crashing. So much for all the hype about not getting the problems of a p.c. Three weeks work down the drain and I can`t get an explanation from anyone. Anyone considering cassie or Kron BEWARE the thing does CRASH

Mr. Nimmo,
I have searched our database and can't find any record of you. I had planned to call you to see if I could help but it doesn't appear that you are a registered owner unless it is under some other name.

You dont mention any particulars so I can't help you or give you any possible solutions. I'm sure your frustrated, but many many users are quite happy with this devise and many many would be happy to help you. But, we need to know what the particulars are so you can avoid the problem in the future.

This is not unusual David. Other NLE offerers feel threatened by your success and the fine products you deliver. The fact that you have no registration for this bogus user is further proof. We all are pleased with your work and looking forward to Krons intro here in the U.S. Mucho alohas from Waikiki, Mike

Re: Crashing Cassie [In reply to] Can't Post

To Mr. Slone, I appologise for not letting you know that I am based in Scotland that is why you will not know me as a registered user. I am registered with Hama U.K.
To Mr. Noble, 1.If you care to check the U.K. Cassie site you will see a whole list of reasons why Cassie will crash. (error codes) 2.I am certainly not a bogus user. 3. I bet you wish your brain was as big as your mouth.
To everyone else who is trying to help me it is very much appreciated. It doesn`t seem to matter if I record in small individual scenes or as one whole scene and then split it. When I start putting the story board together I get a green error code at some stage, cassie reboots but only to the initial logo screen and then I have to reinstall all the software again.

There are many ,many screw ups wishing they had picked up the Casablanca and
using another piece of crap so they whine about it and throw mud at us users.
Having been in video production for 15 yrs. and done corporates for big
companies like Coka-Cola... I must disagree with the brain thing fella. Tell
me why won't you, the poor english demand their money back if not satisfied?
We do weddings for people all over the world and have found a few slippery
english have kept a log from the moment they got on the plane till the
instant they arrived home. I'ts rare but the most minor deviation can tick
these people off.....a slow stewardess...baggage handler...discolored flower
in a bouquet on and on. The Germans ,Australians and Canadians are
wonderful as well as all our own people on the mainland. Ya'll don't all cry
but when you do its a pain . If you have a problem with anything in your
country, deal with it and spare us here in the United States your whining. You
can e me a long winded tiny brained response if you like . Have no interest
in it and will be not opened and deleted. From Waikiki Beach , Tiny
Brain!!!!!
Obviously I hit a nerve with my message to Mr. Noble as you can see. However, back to cassie, I have been told that it may be the new digital deck causing problems when I start and stop it causing cassie to get a dodgy signal. Has anybody over there heard of this problem?
Many thanks to those who mailed me.

Re: Crashing Cassie [In reply to] Can't Post

I really kinda lost track of exactly what was going on in this thread, but to address the the following paragraph:
However, back to cassie, I have been told that it may be the new digital deck causing problems when I start and stop it causing cassie to get a dodgy signal. Has anybody over there heard of this problem?
The 8th Commandmanet of using the Cassie says:
Thou shalt start the playback deck before starting the Cassie to record and thou shalt stop the Cassie recording before stopping the playback deck. To do otherwise invites many problems.
