DVD backup	Can't Post

I am using Heimdall to back up a project. I will only need to have it backed up for a week, then I will finish the project. Can I re-use the DVD RAM disk for another project after it has been used?

why does it take 15 hours to back up your fav dvd it is so anoying cuz all you have to do i mark the back of the dvd disc and the disc is nakered is there a better way of backing up dvds
