: Is it possible to hook up an external DVD burner to a Avio DV machine and output a project to the DVD burner via firewire. Sounds like an inexpensive alternative to upgrading the avio to kron etc.
Well I thought I posted this once I will give it another try. I apparently had a stupid attack maybe and didnt click on Submit Follow up.
I have a Kron and a Prestige, even though both units have a burner I also have a Phillips 985 and a Panasonic DMR-E100H which has a 120 GB hard drive in it. I prefer the Panasonic over the Phillps since I can unload the video from the Kron and the Prestige and store it in the DVD burner and start on another project.
