HELP-Selective Muting - HELP Can't Post

Is it possible to selectively mute clips on the Avio? I have some interviews that I need the sound - then some clips that I want to have music playing over them without the audio from the video being heard.
It seems all I can do is mute everything or nothing.
Help!
Thanks

Yes you should be able to mute separate audio clips. In the audio (mixer) page highlight the clip in question and then reduce the volume to zero. It then needs to be rendered to take effect.

If you wish to dip the sound of a music track to hear sound from the video clip this can be done by producing a "silent sound sample" for the period of time you need to dip the sound. Place and range the silent clip on an empty sound track, select it but adjust the volume on the music track to whaterver you need it to be. Then render. You can also add fade in/out so the sound dip isn't sudden. This can be used in either ST or Avio Pro although the track volume controls are different in Pro.
