Help!! Keyboard won't work	Can't Post

OK guys, what have I missed here. Started an editing project on the Kron and found the keyboard to be nonresponsive. Rebooted - same problem. Checked the plug connections - still nothing. Changed keyboards - still would not recognize keyboard. Reinstalled OS (1.8) still no keyboard. Help!! what should I try next.

1. Has the keyboard worked ok in the past? Is it a USB keyboard? Is it connected to the correct USB port? Try the trackball in the USB port (if it has a USB connector). I have to admit this is a new one on me.
