How to do Photo Montage with Casablanca Can't Post

I have just started using the Prestige and I purchased the Photo Transfer software. Is this going to make a decent Photo Montage? What is the best way to get the pictures into the Casablanca? Thanks!

Hello Suzanne,
If your photos are still in 2-D mode, use the 'Photo' setting found in the Record screen of your Prestige (also on Kron, Avio Pro). Simply connect your camcorder or visual presenter's video output cable to the video in on your Prestige. Adjust the length to your desired scene length (example 08:00).
Then when you have your photo framed, click on the Record button. This will record that scene very quickly - using less than 1/3 of a second hard drive space but still producing a clear still frame that is 08:00!
Before leaving this menu, continue framing your photos and recording them. Going back to the Edit Screen will show clips of each still scene in your clip bin. You can then add to the storyboard, place crossfades and voila! a photo montage in a short amount of time.
Hope this helps!

What I do Suzzi is use the X2b camera with a lens controller. This way I can instantly record all pix with gentle zooms and pulls in real time...only 30 seconds per pix as apposed to scanning pix and doing the drop down menu thing for several minutes per shot. I start the zoom and hit record then trim to an 8-10 second clip. Makes video shows veeery fast and gives movement to your pictures.Any highend camera will have the lens controller input.
