Richard,
are you running V1.8 OS, V1.2c Arabesk and working in "Direct DV" rather than one of the "Mpeg" settings?
If not I would suggest all of these as a starting point, and perhaps reboot the kron before encoding (Add Project) the projects, you will need to set your chapter points after rebooting. Once you do encode the projects shut the Kron down and reboot before burning a DVD, I have found this to be the most reliable way to burn DVD's on a number of different systems.

: I have 30 biology lectures that I have edited on a Casa Blanca. I wish to make 4 DVD copies of each. We also have a KRON which we updated in August with a DVD recorder and the Arabesk (sp?) software program that goes with it. I have spent the last month trying to get the DVD program to load my lectures into the DVD recording program. I have broken each lecture into 4 to 6 scenes to allow students to jump to the portion of a lecture they want to review. The problem is that the machine often freezes at least 2 or 3 times when trying to get any given portion of the lecture into the DVD recording program. We have completely reloaded all software with no beneficial affect. We have saved the project at all levels after each lecture segment finally gets loaded into the KRON's DVD recording program...still no help.
