Unfortunately, v1.8 does not cure this problem, either. Nothing will, until they decide to put a cleanup routine in the software, much like the Casablanca Classic has, and the the DraCo Vision before that has, and the Vlab Motion before that has. Workaround right out of the box: locate scenes that you've trimmed or split from longer segments, delete BOTH the storyboard copies AND the scene list copies of ALL the segments either split or trimmed from it. Turn the machine off, then on again. Recapture ONLY the portions of those scenes you will be using. You should have some additional space freed up. Do this with EVERY scene until you get enough space to finish your project. Bottom line: until there is a real cleanup routine in the Avio/Kron, you must NEVER just dump a long segment into the unit, then split or trim to the desired length. You should capture only what you will be using in the final video (plus a couple seconds on the front and back of the scene). : Stan, : This was a prblem in earlier OS but now seems fixed. V1.8 should cure the problem. However, you can try switching to an empty project before turning off your machine, this sometimes works, or a full install of the OS, but this would wipe the drive. : : : This is crazy! My Hard Disk Capacity is 31%. I'm recording in DV mode (5). My Total Time says 356 minutes, yet when I record about 3 minutes I get that #$%& "DISK FULL" message. I've turned it off, unplugged it, nothing seems to help. I'm currently running OS 1.6 and will upgrade as soon as my new smartmedia card gets here from ebay. Does anyone know of a trick in the mean time? I've got to finish editing a wedding THIS WEEK. If anyone can help...THANKS!!!
