Is it possible to write to a LaCie (Pioneer) DVD burner directly from AVIO Pro using firewire?

I haven't found any DVD burner that will recognize the firewire output from the AVIO/KRON. It is best to dump off to a Sony GVD-900. Then output the DV signal/firewire to the burned. I haven't seen a Burner that won't recognize the Sony.
