Logos in Video Can't Post

First off, I would like to thank everyone for their input on the Kron v.s. Prestige topic......I spoke with someone at Macro Systems and now I believe everything is going to go the way of the Prestige.
I have a new question, though. I am going to need to input sponsor logos in these videos....is this possible to do with the Prestige? Can I get the logo into the machine so that I can use it in the video?

Re: Logos in Video Can't Post

Hi,
You won't be able to directly import a logo into your Prestige and insert it onto your video. You can use the standard PIP transtition on your system. OR whoever you are buying your Prestige from try to talk them into throwing in PIP-STUDIO along with your Prestige. PIP-STUDIO is a somewhat powerful program that allows you to do different PIPs with shapes, color, etc. Once you have this program then you can record in your logo and use this program to insert over your video.
MSUS also has a training tape on PIP-STUDIO that he should throw in too. If I was still a dealer I would do that for you.

Any logo that you add to your video will require rendering so if you want it for the entire length of a several minute video rendering time could become significant. An easier way to imbed a graphic continuously in a video would be to use a "logo inserter" that will insert a graphic in the video as you are recording it out to tape. Such inserters can be purchased for a few hundred dollars from a supplier such as www.markertek.com.
Graphics can be imported quite easily into the Prestige using the optional ($99) software package Photo Transfer. Such a graphic could be overlaid with selected, short portions of a video where there wouldn't be too much rendering.
