V1.8 software	Can't Post

I have been capturing Hi end animated title sequences made with SCALA software in my PC from YC outlet on videocard direct to Avio no problems using 1.4 software. However since upgrading to V1.8 I can no longer capture the signal from PC even if the signal is recorded and sent to avio from a vcr or Hi 8 camera. All other video from any source is captured Ok via YC. The video from the PC is clear while recording but the recorded file has no colour and is banded with wide columns and wavy interference. Is this a plot by Macromedia to stop people bypassing their expensive hardware and software upgrades or am I just paranoid

I don't think this is a plot! If you can record regular scenes from your vcr (or camera) to your Avio there is no reason that you can't record a scene that you have captured from your pc on the vcr to the Avio. The vcr (or cameras signal isn't any different. That said, I don't know what the problem may be. There are much smarter people than I on this forum.

There should be no difference in the signal that your vcr sends. If it records a regular scene into the Avio it should record any scene you tape, even from the pc. That said, I don't know what your problem may be. Maybe someone smarter than I can add further!
