adaption of Sony MPK TRA housing for TRV50 camera	Can't Post

Can anybody help me.
The Sony MPK TRV A underwater housing is not compatible with the mini dv camera TRV50. With the standdby switch the camera can be turned off, but after 4 seconds it is turned on again and immediately off again. This is repeated forever.
Does anybody know what to do to solve this problem ?
