Start with a still image that is properly sized to fit your video screen. In Photoshop: 1. Place the image in a layer over a transparent background. 2. Select an area around the mouth, feathering the edges slightly. 3. Cut out the selected area. Save the image as a 32 bit .tga file or other format that supports an alpha channel. In your editing software: 1. Import the saved image and place it in a video track. Stretch to fill the needed clip length. 2. Place a video clip of a person talking in a track above the still image. Use pan/crop tools if needed to get the mouth of the talking person positioned under the transparent hole in the still image. That's it! Regards, Doug Graham Panda Productions
