Drop Shadow question Can't Post

I have Elements 4. I am trying to change the the color of the drop shadow.

How is this done?

Lou,
Can you post a screen shot? In Photoshop is as simple as double clicking on the layer. Then clicking on the drop shodow option, and changing the shading. I would assume it must be something very close.

I double click on the layer. There is a small button. A dialog box pops up.
Only distance......no color box etc.

This is probably way too late, but here you go:

1) load selection of your original shape
2) feather the selection
3) on a new layer, fill foreground color (whatever color you want the shadow to be)
4) move this new layer behind the original shape
5) nudge this new shadow shape to where you want it to be, relative to the original shape
6) play with the transparency if desired
