Logos with alpha channel Can't Post

I've got a bunch of logos that a client sent me for use in a video. The logos appear transparent in other words they are full color but I see the checkerboard background behind and through them. When I same them and import them into my nLE, they come out with white behind them. How do I save them in Photoshop so I can key them cleanly in my NLE? Thanks.

Depends on your NLE. Many can import .psd files directly, and a .psd file will save the alpha channel information. Or, you can save the file as a 32 bit .tga file, which will also contain the transparency data.

You may also have to enable a transparency setting in your NLE.
