Hal, Nice tips thanks. I've been using PS 7 for awhile and have been pretty much self taught since v.5. Most of the time I will scan, cut out and take my graphics directly into a project with a transperant background made at 720x480 for DV editing or 720x486 for my Globecaster broadcast switcher system. In most cases that has seemed to work without distorting the image or at least it looks like it OK. I will say that after well over a year of watching regular 4:3 TV on a 16:9 HDTV, has changed the way things look to me. The whole world has gained weight. Anyway, I was never taught the resampling thing, so I've never really used it. I'm just wondering why I haven't seen a big difference working the way I have. Thanks, Stoney LE 6.1, DVC-80, GL-1 & TRV900
