Watermark action needs immediate help Can't Post

I'm attempting to create an action to make a watermark. Everything seems to be fine, but for some reason when it comes time to move the photshop image of the watermark over to the photo ... it won't move it. It says that it can't.

Sorry ... I'm not very PS literate, so you many not even have a clue as to what I'm talking about.

Hey Sparky,
Where is your watermark coming from? Actions can be tricky because you're sometimes limited on what you can do. I just created an action that placed text onto a photo, flattened it, saved it as a jpeg, and then closed the photo. Is this what you need to do, or are you trying to place a custom logo on it?

That's essentially what I'm trying to do. As I said, I'm a novice and I'm sure that has to do with a lot of it. I basically need the copyright symbal © along with my name dropped over the photos. Along with the opacity and lower thirds adjusted.

If you just need to place text on the photo and lower the opacity, try this:

1) Open a photo.
2) Create a new action.
3) Click Record.
4) Click on the text tool.
5) Type in the info you want to appear, adjust font, size, color and move it to where you want it on the photo.
6) Lower the opacity.
7) Save as...whatever you want and wherever you want.
8) Close the photo.
9) Click stop on the action palette.

That should get the job done.

Thanks Renny ... I'll give it a shot. I think I was attempting to do way too much. I was making it more difficult than it was.
