at least now I can tell my clients that 3 months for a video is nothin' compared to 11 months for one illustration!

Now THAT guy has a lot of spare time on his hands...although I wish that movie studios put that much time into their digital mattes sometimes...except with a movie you can't see a lot of the details that he put together.

Bert Monroy is a well known photo-realist artist and longtime photoshop guru and educator. One hallmark of his work is the incredible amount of detail visible in the images, far, far more detail then any photograph (with the same field of view) could resolve. I don't know any more about the Damen image than what is on his website, but it wouldn't surprise if you could peer in the windows of the Sears Tower way in the background and see people at their desks looking at the Damen image on their computer screens.Wink
