switchin' eyeballs Can't Post
If I have 2 photos of the same thing (group shot), and in one of them someone's eyes are closed, it should be possible to grab the eyes and fit them onto the other shot.

Sounds easy. But I can't seem to get it to work right.

Does anyone know if this is called something specific, I haven't had much luck with the help menus.

You want the "Clone Stamp Tool".

Open both photos, one above the other. Select a good brush diameter, ALT-Click on the good eye, then click on the bad eye to "open" their eyes. May have to do each eye seperately.

Something maybe a little better...put both photos on different layers and use the "layer mask" tool to erase the things you don't want to keep...with a layer mask, if you mess up then you just change the brush color and paint it back the way it was. Layer masks are fantastic.

and to get the pupils to line up.... adjust the opacity of the layer so you can see through the top layer and move it around to get it just right...
then bring the opacity back up...
