I use Photoshop. Since the license agreement does not allow for legal sale of used software, I am not sure where to buy used but some cheap software can be had at viosoftware.com

InDesign is made for that type of project. I used a combination of InDesign and Photoshop.

I really like inDesign. I'm not a big adobe fan sometimes but I do love that program.

I have used them too, good company, and I can get Microsoft software cheaper through them than I can get it directly from Microsoft. My partner rep was really mad when she found that out last week Laugh

Sorry, I din't see your post earlier Jenny & Marco, but coming from 25 years experience in the printing industry I can tell you that most layouts for printing are done in Quarkexpress and second would be Adobe Illustrator. In today's world you are best served to output from those programs into a .pdf file. All kinds of funky things can happen in the native software that an inexperienced designer would be unaware of. PM or call me if you want to know more.

And with my wife when she was working in the graphic design world, she designed in Illustrator and pulled it into quarkxpress - so she used both Crazy - illustrator for design, quark for layout

A little OT, but do you know of a QuarkExpress reader that is available?

IE being able to read the file without buying the full program?
