Audio System Advice Can't Post

My church has an archaic "PA System" for the sound. It's mainly just used for Fr. Zigrang's Sermons, but there are other possible uses for it like when we have an event in the adjoining hall.

I also have a vested intest in this since I am the official/unofficial "videographer" for the church, and I like to record Fr. Z's sermons so that some of our shut-in's or sick people can hear them via the internet or other media.

Now please understand, the existing system is OOOOLD.. I think it came with the building back in the 1970's

So I was just wondering what some people would suggest to replace. It doesn't ahve to be top of the line, just anything would be better than what we have now.

Note: It does work okay, but it is a PITA to record anything off of it, and that would be my main reason for donating/replacing it.

A budget budget... Smile

Seriously... probably not going to drop more than afew hundred on it since the speakers are already there... and can be reused.

What you got in mind?

I believe the speakers and wiring are fine.

It the central unit.. I think it s "realistic" PA system.
