Re: [Mark Foley] H2 is on the way [In reply to] Can't Post

Mr. Foley, no kiss-up intended here but, you are always open, honest and knowledgeable regarding audio for video producers on this forum. Reading your comments and advise, as well as that of MLiebergot and others, I am so much nearer accomplishing the level of audio acquisition for my wedding and event gigs that will greatly improve my delivered products.

Having said that, I know without a doubt that ANY instructional DVD you could or would take the time to produce, even a book, or a videotaped production of a seminar presentation you would give IF you gave one, would be a "must purchase" item on my wish list. Especially if it focused not only on the practical aspects of sound acquisition, but also generally on the relative capabilities and uses of high-end and low-end devices.

I also know, as you said, you like sharing freely here, but still...
...I would encourage you to put something together that will not only help us all, but will generate some additional well-deserved income for you. You deserve it. And I am willing to bet that there are MANY of us "out there" who would respond positively by purchasing such information (even Mr. Cheapo himself, RTSteeleeeeee Sly), making the experience, effort and reward worth it for all. IMHO.

I had planned to ask to present at Video 08...but I have a more pressing commitment at the same time. I guess there is always Video 09. I may put feelers out before I do and see if there is a need....

Thanks for the kind words.... Smile
