Need good XLR adapter for your camera? Check this out... Can't Post

If anyone is in need of a good, very affordable, quiet XLR adapter for their camera, like an FX1.
Then you may have interest in my latest Blog, posting on a quick review of a new XLR box on the market from Juicedlink.
It uses active pre amps that are very quiet and I do mean quiet.
Checkout the Blog.

Thanks Mark, it's still a work in progress, as I'd like to do further testing with it. Bit it is a very good little box, and it is quiet, whihc is most important to me.

I have actually been talking to the developer about doing a 2 channel version with VU meters, phantom, and low cut filters, like he has available for his 4 channel one. I would jump on that one in a second.

the only thing that I don't like about the box is that the XLR inputs are on the left side of the box. My shotgun mic and/or wireless receiver are mounted on the right side of my modded FX1 (has Z1 mic mount). So when I go to plug in my XR cables, I have to run them through my FX1 handle (accross my camera). I can rotate the box, but then my pots are on the front of my FX1 (not where I would want them. Wink).

If the XLR inputs were on the right hand side then it would be a simple connection with no fuss no muss.

Yes, nice summary Michael.

That's what I like about my Sign adapter. XLR on one side, pots on the opposite. Makes reversing the adapter quite easy.

I can't believe the folks didn't catch that. It kinda makes the thing err... one sided.
