Yamaha Pocket Track...? Can't Post

I may be late to the party but this looks quite cool...smaller than most of the others..

The only problem with this unit it can't record at 24 bit depth as most recorders in this price range can.

my concern is more with size....I'm looking for a semi professional replacement to an iriver on a groom... My irivers won't last forever... although they seem to be doing pretty well so far.. knock on wood..Shocked

As you've probably have read/seen here, the marantz 620 may meet your criteria. Although a bit more total mass than the iRiver, it fits comfortably (better) into a pocket. Very well built...has a good/solid feel...easy to operate and pretty quiet pre-amp.

I already have an r-09 which is the same size... too big IMO.. I know people use wireless systems and they are bigger than irivers but I don't really want to put something that big on a groom.. I've read enough bad reviews about the marantz OS that I will probably avoid it. I love how easy the edirol is. I'm looking forward to the new one as well (r-09hr) since it has an analog limiter... finally the companies get it...
