Yet another small form factor field recorder on the horizon Can't Post

Looks like Marantz is now jumping in the small form factor field recorder with its upcoming release of the PMD 620.... nothing firm on price ...probably around $399

Great menu feature, “Skip Back,” allows transcribers the ability to review recorded audio from 1 to 60 previous seconds."

Let's see (Edirol, M-Audio, Zoom, Fostek, Marantz) who else is left that hasn't entered the small field recorder market yet?
Looks very similar to the R09 in form factor and build.

How many have you pre-ordered? Sly

Will the damn thing stay in synch with my footage? LaughLaugh

It has external speakers. I wonder where *that* feature request came from. It can only add to the bulk of the thing.

I would assume from podcasters...as this will be a big part of the target market
