Zooming the Groom ... Can't Post

I've just now had the chance to play a little bit with the H2. Granted ... just in my office, but I'm trying to get to know the settings as opposed to checking the quality. That said ... I tried it with my GS and all the various mic settings. As long as I don't have any major glitches I think these are going to come in handy.

I don't know if anyone has tried to Zoom the groom yet, but if so ... what did you do with it? The little pouch that comes with it won't be of much help and it's too large for the pants pocket. Same goes with the breast pocket of the tux.

Has anyone found some type of case that it will slip into and then reliably hook onto the outside of the pants? I'm thinking these could make quite a thud if they fell off.

Thanks ~

Scott

Unfortunately, the H2 is a bit big to place in a pocket....

If you do however, be sure to run a piece of electrical tape over the on/off switch to prevent accidental shutdown.

Scott, if you really wanted to you could take a piece of metal bend it (so it would bend from the bottom of the H2 and wrap the bottom of the recorder). The bend it again to form a belt clip. then drill a small hole in the bottom to enable you to use a screw to screw into the bottom thread.

Either that or look for a body glove style cace, that will enable you to put the H2 in it. The just attach that to the pants of the groom.
