Canon GL2 Rebate - Round and Round Can't Post

Well, after 4 months of waiting for my rebate - nuttin' !
So, I called REBATE HQ and spoke with the drone that works there and got the stock drone answer - Your order has been processed and finalized, please wait 20-30 days for your rebate.
Jheez - they could save some money by NOT hiring people and just looping a recording saying the same thing. I've heard this same stock answer before, via email and postcard.
At that time I requested a supervisor (which the drone hated to do). I then brought mention of a class action suit for fraud and negligence (there are plenty of us out their STILL waiting for our rebates). It was amazing how quick a supervisor got on the phone, friendly as can be - go figure.
He mentioned my threat and I told him it was a promise, I was tired of waiting and THEY did not fulfill their terms and conditions as stated on the website, via postcard and via EMAIL.
I was promised by then that I would receive a check within 10 days as it would be special handled. I then told them of others that have waited equally as long.
Poor guy was getting frazzled, so I told him if that check is NOT recieved in my mailbox within 14 days from this date, his name would be included in a class action suit.
We'll see - I really hate having to waste my time on these draconion operations - but it's the reason I selected the GL2.
And the saga continues.
I wonder if CANON actually knows about this.
