The manuals are typically about 1/2 inch thick, include large fold out pages. You probably can order it from Canon's national parts for about US$55 or so. You may have to pass a gatekeeper who approves the sale, and you may have to sign a warranty waiver agreeing that any work you do as a result of having the manual may void the warranty. The manual is intended for technicians who are well versed with Canon DV products, not for typical end users or casual hobbiests.
