Canon brand vs. aftermarket batteries for xl-1 Can't Post

Any opinions on this? Canon brand batteries are always more expensive but other manufacturers (ex. Lenmar) claim their batteries last longer. Any experiences with both? I'm getting ready to stock up on a few new batteries and would like some opinions.

Greg
I have bought non canon batteries for my xl1 from a company here in Australia at Brisbane, Japanese cells, assembled in Hong Kong for exactly half the price!
Seem fine to me! I'm not sure where you are situated let me know
maybe I could give your the brand name?

I've used some LENMAR (LIC941 and LIC924) with success over the past year or so. Can't say that I see a major difference, but have NOT tried and specific timed tests.
