CharacterCode Erase	Can't Post

Please help cant sleep. I have a wedding video tape shot with XL1. It had Character Code buring everything on seen on the viewfinder onto the tape, timecode, time remaining, color balance, f-stop etc.
Is there any thing out there that can be done?

I don't have an XL1 but are you sure it can even "burn" that to tape? I thought it simply embedded it as metadata you can turn on or off with the Display button.

see page 79 of the XL1S manual or if you have a XL1 put the XL1 into VCR.... play.... then press data code on the remote
