Definitely frame movie mode or not? Can't Post

Hi
I have asked many times about the options to use when shooting a movie with a Canon XL1 (in the case you want to transfer it to 35mm) and I got different advices about using or not the "movie frame mode". My Canon Xl1 is PAL camera...
So, many say that I have not to use this option - absolutely not!
Many others say yes - absolutely yes!
Is out of there somebody that has already shot a movie with this camera, and that has transferred it to 35mm? Really: wath is the best way? I have already read informations about it in "dvinfo" and other sites too, but from people that are currently working for films' societies I got different, opposit responses. Can somebody help me, concretely?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH,
am1

Thank you Nathan.
I have read Watchdog, and I am going to read other posts and articles that I found in several sites that I was able to find on the NET about DV filmaking and its relating issues. May be the majority of them give advices about the good opportumity to use "movie frame" with the Canon XL1 when it's supposed that the movie is going to be transferred to 35mm, some others (film companies included) say not. I will continue to travel through the "jungle", ehehe. Anyway I hope that I can do a test as soon as possible.
Bye soon

I presume it would depend on the telecine you were using: Does it support progressive scan, or not? The people with the telecine should be able to tell you--and, in any case, you should do a test.
