Flickering lights Can't Post

Recently in an office building I shot some footage and after reviewing it the lights seem to flicker. I have shot under fluorescent ights before andd never had this problem. What am I missing and what can be done to correct it in FCP3 or do I have to shoot it over again?

Can you describe the flicker effect a bit more precisely.
Did you have had a fast shutter speed set for this shoot. If so, it maybe beating with the lights. A potential solution is to stay with a 1/60 shutter when shooting scenes lit with arc type lighting such as flourescents.
Depending on the precise effect you see, a possible repair in post might be to shoot some additional footage of a white card under the same light to get the same effect, reverse it, and then use it as a filter of sorts to reduce the effect. But by the time you do all that it may be just better to reshoot, and perhaps use lighting you know does not produce the flicker effect.

Re: Flickering lights [In reply to] Can't Post

Thank you for the response but I failed miserbly to fully explain my dilema. I am shooting ntsc here in thailand witch runs 220 power. Usually it is not a problem but this time it was. I snuck into a government office building and cannot really afford to try agian. Is there nothing that can be done in "post"?
