I had some better results fooling with the white balance on the GL2 to get it to match closer to the GL1. I'm thinking of trying some of those "warm" cards I've seen for adjusting white balance. Have you tried those before? Thanks... Gary P.S. I'm happy with the GL2, it's just in the florsent lighting conditions that I'm using it and the GL1 together the GL2 doesn't seem to have as rich of colors. : For starters, take both cameras into a less than ideal lighting situation. Your GL-1 will start to show it's age. Hopefully this will make you feel better about your purchase. : I've actually found that default settings on my GL-2 are miles ahead of what the GL-1 would offer up on it's best day. The CCDs of the GL-2 have so much more resolution... there's really no comparison. : As for adjustements, read the manual and start dinking around with it. The GL-1 is a fine camera in good light, but the GL-2 has a number of improvements you should be proud to owne. : Oscar : : I just purchased a brand new Canon GL2. I already have a GL1. However, the picture quality of the GL2 doesn't seem quite as good to me as the GL1. The colors oon the GL2 don't seem to be as vivid. It's probably an adjustment I need to make? Any ideas? : : Thanks... Gary
