Help: Stop motion animation with xl1s Can't Post

I was told that the Xl1s has a feature that allows me to do stop motion
animation. i have been playing around with it and the shorest i can get it to
record is .5 sec with the interval feature. Anyone know what i can do?

The XL1 and XL1s don't do true single frame stop motion animation. There are some 3rd party programs out there that will allow you to do this with the XL1s via a firewire capture card and a computer.

I was afraid you would say that. After I posted my question a friend of mine
told me that I could do stop motion through premiere, but that doesn't really
solve my current problem, but thank you very
much anyway.
