How to handle 24f in post (FCP) Can't Post

Wondering what workflow to use in Final Cut Pro to handle 24f content. Thus far I've simply been using the default HDV 60i easy setup. Apparently FCP recognizes it as progressive because if I drop it in a 60i timeline I get render bars. As soon as I change the field dominance to "none" it's perfect.

I was wondering if it's better to capture it as HDV 24p. I don't know if 24"f" content needs pull-down removal or anything similar to DVX 24p advanced footage. TIA
