I need a second camera. Advice? Can't Post

I have been using a canon XL1 for a year now, and was thinking about bying a second camera. My first choice is the GL1, but what about an elura 2 MC. Does this camera have almost the same quality as the GL1. If I choose the Elura 2MC I would not do it because of the difference in cost, bust simply because it is so small that it can stay it in my pocket all the time.
Final question?
Will the audience see the difference in a movie if some scenes were shot with an Elura 2MC?

i have a GL! and a elura ... yes you can see the difference between them ... you can intercut them if there is a BIG difference in the shots (angle, or wideshot to CU )
the problem with the ELURA's- you have NO control on the GAIN setting ... so a interior shot on the elura might have 3-6 db gain while the GL is at 0 gain ... the elura might have the gain ON while the F stop is at 5.6 and you may only need it at 2.8 with NO gain but it will NOT allow you to manually change the gain ... changing the F stop to 2.8 only makes the scene brighter..... you can manually chaneg F stop , shutter .....
i did a quick look at the elura II and it looked like it did the same ...
when i do a 2 camera shoot .. i use the GL on the wider shot and the elura on CU
