some pay, copy, credit sounds like no pay ... so if i'm going to get nothing i would like alot of nothing ...lets make it $10,000 a day deferred ( which equals nothing )
that way when my frineds ask me why i'm working on a no budget i can at least say i'm making 10K a day ( and under my breath i can say deferred).. but i have to warn you i'm GOOD & fast.
been shooting film from 1982 ... since 97 i switched to mini DV. and thats hand size camera's only !! NO shoulder camera's...only shoulder camera's i shoot are film camera's ...
DV is DV .., it is NOT film ... use the DV "look " to it's advantage ... go see "the king is alive " or "center of the world"
or "the celebration" .... if you are going to attempt to shoot this like traditional film then i'm NOT interested ..
BUT all this depends on your script/idea ... how realistic is your shooting schedule ?

: We are looking for a DP for a feature to shoot in August. There is some pay, catered meals, and of course copy and credit. The locations will be in the Los Angeles area. Looking for creative individual who is familiar with the XL-1, and would like to build a body of work with our company.
