New GL3? Can't Post

Hi,
I saw that some Canon is offering a rebate on its current Canon GL2. Does that mean that Canon is coming out with a GL3? Does anyone know of the new features it is supposed to have - i.e. 24p capability? XLR inputs?
Thank you.

I'm watching the rebates too - The GL2 is great - but if the replacement has xlr & HD capabilities - then it'll be worth the $2,000ish price - otherwise for $1,300 after rebates - the GL2 is a "helluva" deal.
