New user need help BAD! Can't Post

How do you put the GL1 in VTR mode..I don't see it in the manual anywhere. Also any tips anyone can give me would be nice. I don't check this site much so if you could email me at jccuffs@msn.com with some help that would be great. Thanks,

There's a switch on the top of the case, beside the handle. It will switch the camera between Camera mode, OFF, and VCR mode. When in VCR mode, open the panel on the top of the handle and use the appropriate controls to jog the tape. Enjoy the camera!
Also, Canon's www.canondv.com site has the PDF version of the GL1 manual there for download. Each time I read it, I find more good features on this great camera.
