Pelican hardshell case for GL1 is great! Can't Post
After a little more thought, I went ahead and ordered a 1600 hard shell case with Pick and Pluck foam from B&H online.
It arrived yesterday. It is very nice and is built like a tank. After removing the silhouette shape of my GL1, it fits perfectly!
