Pixelated Video / Bad Sound during Playback Can't Post

Hello,
I have a DV Tape that plays fine on my labs DV decks but when I take it home and play it on my Canon GL1, it plays back unwatchable (i.e. extremely pixelated with the sound cutting in and out). Any known causes for this?
p.s. My GL1 plays back other tapes fine (even other tapes from the same lab!!!).

I have several problems like that and sometines a simple head cleading of the camera will fix it. I have also had to seen it in for service back to Cannon and they replaced the heads in the camera
The xl1s is the camera that I use but the same problems may occur with the gl1
