Seeking a wireless remote supplier Can't Post

Anyone know where I can get a Canon WL-D77 Wireless remote? I believe they are the same remotes issued with the GL-2, but I'm looking for one for my little ZR-25. Can't seem to find one in some of the more obvious places. You're help would be appreciated. You can drop me a note at mcolford@mindspring.com.

Many thanks,

Michael Colford

The Canon site would have been one of those more obvious places I referred to. I don't know, maybe it's there, but I sure could't find any place to order one. The only place that comes up when you do a search for the part number on their site is the unit as part of the package listing of the accessories that come with cameras. No replacement ordering that I can see. Seems awfully weird, in that my understanding is that this model is the remote for the GL2 also. There has to be a place to get that. Tried Parts solver.com, but I haven't been able to find it. Anyone have any good steers, I be grateful.

sometimes parts are not easily found on web sites. A very common problem. Canon does have an 800 number for parts and I have used it in the past. It was quicker inquiring over the phone than searching the web.

I took your advice and did just call Canon. They directed me to a supplier, gave me a number, I ordered it and received the part. Thanks for your suggestion. I'd have to agree with you about just bypassing their website and calling their customer service -- cutting to the chase, as it were. And I told them so in their follow-up survey. Thanks again -- I was searching all over, and just didn't turn over a rock in the most obvious place.
